- Additional description
Sorong City Police reportedly arrested four NFRPB members on 28 April 2025. The four men were Nikson Mau, Abraham Goran Gaman, Maksi Sangkek, and Piter Robaha.
They were arrested and charged with treason for distributing invitation letters for peace dialogue at several provincial government offices in Sorong City.
The four were tried at the Makassar District Court in South Sulawesi without strong grounds and despite opposition from their families and activists. On 19 November 2025, the panel of judges at the Makassar District Court found them guilty and sentenced them to seven months in prison, minus the duration of their detention during the legal process. The sentence was one month lighter than what the prosecutor had requested.
