Satgas Operasi Damai Cartenz arbitrarily arrested a man with the initials JN in Karang Senang SP3 Village, Kuala Kencana, Mimika, Papua Tengah Province, 1 February 2026. The police have accused JN of being a member of the Papua Intelligence Service (PIS), which is considered part of the armed group TNPNPB. The police have accused him of spreading propaganda and inciting the residents of Mimika. As of the end of March 2026, there has been no further information regarding JN.
