Joint security forces reportedly arrested a resident named Desen Agimbau in Bumi Wonorejo, Nabire, on 11 March 2026. Without a warrant or explanation, Desen was taken to the police station. It is reported that the victim was subjected to physical violence, including being beaten, during the arrest.
