Joint security forces broke up the formation of the Tambrauw Branch of KNPB and arrested 19 people who attended the event led by KNPB Maybrat and Sorong Raya Secretary General Urbanus Kamat.

Three of them, namely Urbanus Kamat, Yeremiah Yesnath, and Wilem Yekwam, remained in custody and were named as suspects in the crime of treason. The other 16 were released after being questioned and asked to make a statement before local officials that they would not commit any further unlawful acts.
