- Additional description
According to Fakfak District Court records, Sikin has been detained by investigators since 3 September 2023. Thus, it is likely that he was arrested before that day. Police officers reportedly arrested Antonius Sikin Kramandondo for his alleged involvement in the burning of the Kramongmongga school and district office as well as the murder of the district head.
In the court of first instance, the public prosecutor demanded that the defendant be convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment. On 2 August 2024, the Fakfak District Court Panel of Judges ruled that the defendant had not legally and convincingly committed the acts charged by the public prosecutor.
Prosecutors appealed the verdict to the Supreme Court but the panel of judges of the Supreme Court on 30 September 2024 rejected the prosecutor's appeal, acquitting Antonius of all charges.
