A joint TNI and police force conducted a sweep of residential areas at the end of Kali Bonto, Yahukimo. During the operation, officers arrested 8 residents allegedly involved in armed groups.

Apart from motorbikes, the officers also confiscated gardening equipment such as axes and arrows.

Some of the arrestees were released on 13 March 2023, except Er Heluka at least until 17 March. It is likely that he was later released as his name does not appear on the court information system for cases related to the shooting down of a civilian aircraft at Nop Goliat Airport.
