Additional description

Dozens of Jayapura City police personnel arrested two KNPB activists at Ekspo Waena, Jayapura City, 16 August 2024, afternoon. The arrest of the two activists, Sadracks Lagowan and Omikzon Balingga, was related to a demonstration commemorating the New York Agreement that took place the day before.

After being accompanied by local human rights defenders, they were released from Jayapura City Police the following day.
