Additional description

Papua regional police and Mimika police arrested Eris Murib at Kali Pindah-Pindah, Iwaka District, Mimika Regency, 21 November 2019. Erik was arrested for his alleged involvement in the attack on Sinak Police Station, Puncak Regency, which killed three police officers.

On 16 July 2020, the Panel of Judges of the Balikpapan District Court sentenced Eris to 15 years in prison. On 10 September 2020, the Samarinda High Court increased the sentence to 17 years in prison. At the Supreme Court, on 20 December 2020, the panel of judges upheld the high court's decision.
