Additional description

Sanggenafa was arrested along with Kostan Bonay and Soleman Waropen by Manokwari police on 20 October 2022. They were arrested for holding a thanksgiving meeting to commemorate the birthday of the NFRPB.

They were tried in Makassar, South Sulawesi by the Makassar District Court. The Makassar District Court found Waropen guilty and sentenced him to 2 years' imprisonment on 12 June 2023. As his sentence was 2 years lower than that demanded, the public prosecutors appealed the verdict to the Makassar High Court. In August 2023, the High Court increased Sanggenafa's sentence to 3 years in prison.
