Additional description

Joint security forces arrested Piper Murib, Dinius Kogoya and Salam Telenggen who were carrying 70 ammunition to Lanny Jaya.

Prosecutor sought 4 years' imprisonment for Piper and Salam.

Two members of the TNI were implicated in the case but it is unclear how they will be prosecuted.

On 26 April 2024, Telenggen was charged for another case, the attack on a police station in Sinak, Intan Jaya Regency, which occurred on 27 December 2015. This case was tried at Nabire District Court under case number 31/Pid.B/2024/PN Nab.

On 29 July 2024, the Panel of Judges of Nabire District Court found Salam guilty and sentenced him to 18 years in prison, in accordance with the prosecutor's demands.

On 8 May 2025, Salam reportedly escaped with two other prisoners.
