Additional description

Bali Police have reportedly dispersed a demonstration by Papuan students at East Square, Renon, Denpasar, Bali, 10 June 2024. In addition to the dispersal, police also arrested four demonstrators (AM, HM, MA, MK) and one lawyer from LBH Bali.

The five were released the same day after protesters demanded their release.

The demonstration was a form of solidarity with the Awyu and Moi tribes, as well as an appeal to the government to revoke the land rights of companies that seize customary land.
