Additional description

Damai Cartenz Task Force personnel arrested Yekis Wanimbo on Jl. Cenderawasih, Timika, on 10 June 2025. Yokis was reported as a fugitive in connection with the burning of a number of facilities at PT Unggul Mitra Pratama, Puncak, on 11 February 2021. Yekis was also accused of being a member of the armed group led by Numbuk Telenggen.

On 11 December 2025, he was found guilty and sentenced to 3 years and 6 months in prison, 6 months less than what the prosecutor had requested from the judge.
