Aminus Senik was arrested along with 20 other people on a property by joint security forces in Yahukimo. Senik remained in detention when the 20 men were released because he was suspected of being involved in a number of cases of attack and murder against members of the TNI and police.
Senik's arrest and testimony led police to arrest Kopi Tua Heluka a few days later.
At trial, the prosecutor demanded that Senik be sentenced to 10 years in prison.
