Satgas Damai Cartenz claims to have arrested the commander of an armed group’s company, Philip Kobak, alias Nenak Kobak, in the area of a church in Dekai, Yahukimo. This took place on the afternoon of 7 March 2026.
The police identified Philip as the Operations Commander of the Kimbusa Company, Kodap XVI Yahukimo. The police also claimed to have seized ammunition, arrows, machetes, axes, bayonets and kitchen knives from Philip’s home in Kampung Tomon 2.
