Arinus Husage and Mekinus Kandeng were arrested by Boven Digoel Police while smuggling weapons from Papua New Guinea.
A local human rights defender reported that they were tortured by Boven Digoel police and held in isolation at the Papua Police for three days (25-28 January).
Prosecutors demanded 10 years imprisonment for both of them.
