Additional description

Marine personnel reportedly arrested two KNPB members named Alokni Keroman and Oroni Gombo in KM, Yahukimo Regency, on 31 January 2026. The marine personnel suspected Alokni and Oroni of being members of the TPNPB.

That morning, Alokni and Oroni were stopped while on their way to work at their parents' farm. After being arrested, they were interrogated for two hours at a military post. After it was proven that they were members of the KNPB, not the TPNPB, Alokni and Oroni were finally released.
