Yahukimo police and Brimob units reportedly arrested two minors, YM (14) and HS (17), on Social Street, Kali Bonto, Yahukimo Regency, in the afternoon of 3 January 2025. Our source told us that on 1 January 2025, there was a shooting incident followed by patrols and sweeps.

Until the end of March 2025, there was no further information about the two children.
