Dozens of students from AMP, Fokmap and FRI-WP were taken to Kelapa Lima police station after being attacked by militia from Garuda Kupang and Garda Flobamora XXX, 1 December 2022. The students had originally organised a demonstration to commemorate West Papua's independence day and to raise human rights issues in the region. After being questioned by the police, the students were allowed to return home.
