Marine personnel arrested two young men from West Papua in the Bravo 3 mining area, Jl. Seradala, Yahukimo, on 22 March 2026. The arrest was reportedly made because of a necklace they were wearing that was considered to be associated with pro-independence groups. Their mobile phones were also said to contain images linked to the TPNPB. After their arrest, they were taken to a military post. As of the end of March 2026, there has been no further information regarding their fate.
