Antonius Frabuku was arrested by security forces for allegedly involved in an armed attack on TNI soldiers working on a bridge project in Faankahrio, Maybrat. The attack, which took place on 20 January 2020, injured a number of soldiers and killed a soldier named Miskel Rumbiak.

On 7 January 2024, Frabuku became one of 53 prisoners who escaped from Sorong Prison. But then the police managed to arrest him again.

During the trial, prosecutors sought life imprisonment for Frabuku. The judge sentenced him to 15 years in prison. Frabuku appealed the verdict and the process is currently ongoing at the second instance court.
