Maybrat police officers arrested Apolos Aikingging in Sorong Regency on 11 May 2023. He was arrested for his alleged involvement in the attack on Posramil Kisor that killed four TNI soldiers.
For the Posramil Kisor case (208/Pid.B/2023/PN Son), prosecutors demanded that Aikingging be sentenced to 20 years in prison.
On 7 January 2024, Aikingging became one of 53 prisoners who escaped from Sorong Prison. But then the police managed to arrest him again.
