Joint police and military personnel arrested a young man with the initials OG during a security patrol on 1 December 2025. OG was found lying injured on Jalan Kebun Sirih, Timika, with a Morning Star flag and a pistol-shaped lighter nearby. The young man was then taken to Mimika Regional General Hospital for treatment before being questioned. As of the end of December 2025, no further information was available regarding the young man.
