Police and military personnel arrested a child named LK (15) on 28 September 2021. LK was arrested along with two other individuals, Amos Ky and RY. They were accused of involvement in an attack on a military post in Kisor that killed four TNI soldiers on 2 September 2021.

LK was a minor at the time of his arrest. Represented by lawyers from LBH Kaki Abu, his trial began on 17 October in Sorong District Court. On 3 December the Court sentenced him for 8 years of imprisonment, two years less than what the prosecutor had demanded. His lawyers stated publicly that the sentencing of LK was incorrect and the Court failed to consider all the facts that were presented by witnesses in Court. There is a concern that LK is wrongfully convicted as there was lack of evidence to support his involvement in the attack and killing of Indonesian military soldiers in Kisor. LK is currently serving jail sentence in an adult Prison in Sorong.

On 6 December 2021, LK's lawyers filed an appeal. However, on 29 December, the High Court panel of judges decided to uphold the previous ruling.

On 12 May 2024, LK was transferred to a juvenile detention centre in Manokwari, Papua Barat Province.
