Additional description

Military personnel reportedly arrested two Papuans, Goliat Sani and a friend (name unknown), in Kampung Mamba, Sugapa District, Intan Jaya Regency, 27 February 2025. While his friend was released shortly after his arrest, Sani was detained until the following day. The family believes that Sani was tortured to death during his detention.

On 28 February 2025, a number of TNI personnel were seen delivering Sani's body to Yokatapa Hospital in Sugapa.
