Satgas Damai Cartenz The Cartenz Peace Task Force arrested two men, Ripe Kerebea and EK, in Nduga, 17 August 2024. EK, who works as a construction worker, was arrested in a honai in the early hours of the morning.

Unlike Ripe who was taken by police to Jayapura, on 19 August, EK was reportedly released.
