Additional description

Military personnel reportedly arrested and tortured a man named Meki Pekei in Deiyai Regency, Central Highlands Province, on the evening of 27 November 2024. Meki was bleeding on the back of his head, in addition to a body covered in bruises, allegedly beaten with a stick. His ears and eyes were also swollen and bleeding. Meki was rushed to hospital the same day.
