Additional description

Satgas Damai Cartenz arrested Mairon Tabuni at Aminggaru Airport, Ilaga, Puncak Regency, 21 October 2024. Police claimed that Mairon was a member of an armed group who was wanted for the shooting of civilians in Puncak Regency last May.

Mairon was reportedly taken to the Task Force Command Post in Mimika.

The case was registered at Nabire District Court on 24 January 2025 with the case classification of firearms or sharp objects.

On 2 June 2025, Yotenus reportedly escaped from Nabire Prison with 19 other prisoners, 11 of whom including Yotenus were said to be affiliated with armed groups.
