Indonesian military personnel reportedly arbitrarily arrested three people near the BNPB logistics warehouse, Agandugume District, Puncak Regency, on 16 January 2026. Kataw Kulua, Yaikunus Murib, and Lois Murib were arrested at 10:30 a.m. and accused of being members of the TPNPB. They were taken to the Rajawali II Military Post and then to the headquarters of Infantry Battalion 142/KJ for interrogation.

After more than 24 hours, the three were not handed over to the police. They continued to be interrogated by the army even though there was no evidence to support the army's allegations. It was reported that they were beaten during interrogation. They were released on the morning of 19 January 2026.
