Police officers from the Heram Police Station arbitrarily arrested Amoros Yeimo and dispersed a demonstration commemorating the 63rd anniversary of the Rome Agreement, which was held on 30 September 2025 in front of Cendrawasih University. The police argued that the demonstration did not have a permit and was considered provocative in the context of conveying the results of negotiations on an extension. The police themselves had stipulated that the action was only permitted until 10.00 West Papua Time.
