The Cartenz Peace Task Force reportedly arrested a presumed member of an armed group, Fabianus Sani, on Tuesday, 7 June 2022. Sani was allegedly in possession of ten rounds of ammunition that he had purchased from a member of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) via an intermediary.

For this case, he was found guilty and sentenced to one year and six months in prison, six months less than the prosecutor's demand. However, separately, he was also tried for another case, namely the alleged abuse of a Quran teacher that occurred on 18 April 2021. In relation to this, he was sentenced to four years and six months in prison.
