Police officers arbitrarily arrested MA and several other protesters while they were demonstrating in support of the Awyu and Moi tribes. They, along with a legal representative from LBH Bali who was also arrested, were forcibly handcuffed and taken to Renon Police Station. About 40 minutes later the protesters arrived at Renon Police Station and demanded the release of the detainees. At their insistence the police released them all.
