Joint security personnel arrested two residents in Duram District, Yahukimo Regency, on 2 March 2026. The two individuals were SW and Dinis Wed. They were arrested whilst fleeing into the forest after hearing warning shots fired by security forces who were combing through the settlement. Security personnel reportedly received information that the TPNPB armed group was storing weapons in the settlement area. Those arrested were released the following day.
