On 28 July 2022, Jayawijaya Police personnel arrested 34 students and activists who were members of the Lapago Joint Secretariat (Sekber) PRP. The activists were initially about to distribute leaflets for the PRP's simultaneous action "reject Otsus and DOB, give HMNS" which will be held tomorrow, 29 July 2022, at several points in Wamena City. They consisted of 34 men and 2 women. were taken to Jayawijaya police station.
