The commemoration of World Human Rights Day held by the Alliance of Student Executive Bodies (BEM) throughout Jayapura at the Uncen Abepura campus was also disbanded by security forces. Student action in front of the Uncen Auditorium was prevented until several students were secured by members of the Jayapura Police. Several people were arrested or detained.
