The Indonesian military arbitrarily arrested Peles Hondani and his wife on Wednesday, 14 May 2025, during a military operation in Janamba Village, Intan Jaya Regency. Peles and his wife are civilians. The two of them, along with four other people, were taken to Bilapa Military Post and fled at 11pm WIT due to a planned execution of them by the post commander.
