Jayapura Regency police arrested at least 78 students of SMK Negeri 1 Sentani who celebrated their graduation with a convoy and doodling on their uniforms, 9 June 2022. The police separated the students who had painted a Morning Star motif on their clothes from the rest of the students. Students who did not paint their clothes with the Morning Star motif were able to go home first, while the remaining 21 were questioned and only allowed to go home at night.
