Jayapura police personnel dispersed KNPB Sentani activists who were about to distributing leaflets calling for action to commemorate the New York Agreement near Sentani Old Market, 13 August 2024, afternoon. Not only did they disperse the activity, police officers also arrested at least twenty six KNPB activists at Jayapura Police Station. The activists were released after being accompanied by LBH Papua and questioned by the police.
