On 13 July 2022, Sentani Police Sector (Polsek) officers arrested two students from Walter Post Jayapura Theological College (STT). The two students were about to distribute leaflets for the PRP action to be held the next day, related to the rejection of Otsus and DOB. They were taken to the local police station and only released after undergoing a process of interrogation which was fraught with intimidation.
