Additional description

Operasi Damai Cartenz and the Yahukimo Police arrested a young man named Iron Heluka in Dekai, Yahukimo, on 28 November 2025. The police accused Iron of being a member of an armed group, of being involved in the burning of food stalls, and of a number of other criminal cases. Two people fled when Iron was arrested.

A spokesperson for the West Papua National Liberation Army (TPNPB) denied that Iron was a member of the TPNPB. According to him, Iron was a student at the University of Cenderawasih (Uncen) Yahukimo Branch.
