Additional description

The treason case against Elias Wetipo, Marthen Samonsabra Oiwari, and Yoran Pahabol began when they departed from Jayapura City to Sorong City on 13 September 2022 for an NFRPB meeting.

In front of the arrival gate of Domine Eduard Osok Airport in Sorong, they unfurled a banner reading "Working Visit (NFRPB) Year 2022. Cabinet for the Restoration of the Federal Republic of West Papua, Agenda for Structuring the Government and Consolidating Population Data in the State and District Areas." The three then conducted a peaceful speech in front of the NFRPB supporters.

The public prosecutor asked the panel of judges to sentence the defendants to five years in prison.
