The judges of the Makassar District Court on Wednesday, 14 June 2023, read out the verdicts against the three defendants, Elias Wetipo, Marthen Samonsabra Oiwari, and Yoran Pahabol. The defendants, known as administrators of the Federal State of the Republic of West Papua (NFRPB), were found legally and convincingly guilty of the criminal offence of "participating in treason."
