Personnel of Satgas Damai Cartenz arrested a person alleged to be a member of an armed group, Konara Enumbi, on Friday afternoon, 15 August 2025. The arrest reportedly took place at a traditional house in Kampung Usir Depan, Puncak Jaya Regency, Central Papua Province.

Police claim Enumbi was involved in a shooting incident that killed police officer Ronal Enok on 21 January 2025.

On 27 October 2025, the case file was handed over by the police to the Nabire District Attorney's Office.

On 17 December 2025, the Wamena District Court found Enumbi guilty and sentenced him to five years’ imprisonment.
